Cleansing your body to prepare for pregnancy, or at any time in your life!
Tuesday, January 26th, 2010So rereading my last 5 posts about this Raw Challenge I’ve realized that maybe the content isn’t too exciting to my readers, or that moms or moms to be may not be so interested in my challenges, but more so how I can help you with your’s. So let’s talk a little about what this raw food challenge really means. It’s about cleansing and detoxifying, to rid the body of toxins and chemicals absorbed from food, water, body products and the air you breathe. Cleansing your body is very important for good health. It is also extremely beneficial for someone thinking about becoming pregnant or that has been struggling to conceive. Toxic overload can cause many common ailments. Things like fatigue, headaches, (more…)

Whether you are pregnant or not having enough energy to get through the day is important. Better yet, having an abundance of energy allows you to thrive through the day and accomplish your tasks with excitement and joy. (Well okay, it depends what those tasks are!) Your 1st and 3rd trimesters seem to drain you the most. Your baby is growing at such a fast rate and absorbing all of your nutrition that it almost seems impossible to have enough energy. And no one ever talks about the 4th trimester. Those exhausting days and nights of just trying to survive and keep your baby happy with a full belly. And let’s be real, there are very few babies that actually sleep through the night until the age of 2 (or 3 or 4!) Whoever came up with the term “slept like a baby”?! Moms (and yes, Dads too) somehow learn to live with less sleep, that’s just part of being a parent. But here’s the good news, there are simple things you can do to have more energy through out the day, even on less sleep.
